Snapshot of flagship central government schemes for #Telangana State.

Over the last 8 years, the Government of India under the leadership of PM @narendramodi has undertaken several initiatives towards the welfare of the people.
Through various central government institutions, the Government has been supporting various projects in #Telangana.

@NABARDOnline has given more than ₹ 16,000 crores for various rural infrastructure projects.

Central Government Banks including NABARD provided ₹ 86,000 crores of loans at low-interest rates for the #Kaleswaram Irrigation Project.

In Railways, the @SCRailwayIndia undertaking 16 projects that include 09 new lines and 07 doubling projects.
This will cost ₹ 31,281 Cr for the 2,495 km length that falls either fully or partly in #Telangana.

In #Telangana, during 2014-21, 321 KM sections of new rail line and doubling projects have been commissioned at an average rate 45.86 km per year.

This is 164% more than the average commissioning during 2009-14 where 17.4 Km per year was commissioned.

💠#Telangana has seen more than 2 lakh urban houses delivered while approximately 60 Lakh Urban houses have been delivered across #India while another 40 Lakh Urban houses are being constructed across India.

Approximately 11 Lakh LPG gas connections have been provided under Ujjwala Yojana in #Telangana.

Across India more than 9 crore Gas connections have been provided and the government has allocated more than ₹ 12,500 crores so far.

During #COVID19 & difficulties that followed, under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana close to 25 Lakh metric tons of rice was allocated for free distribution to the residents of #Telangana at a cost of approximately ₹ 9,000 crores.

Telangana farmers have been given ₹ 95,000 Cr in MSP value in the last 8 seasons.

The priority that the govt. accords towards farmers welfare is evident from the fact that the MSP value transferred increased 9 times from ₹ 3,400 Cr in 2014-15 to ₹ 26,640 Cr in 2020-21. 9/n

With the revival of the #Ramagundam Fertiliser plant at the cost of ₹ 6,200 crores, fertilizers will now be available locally and the import burden of fertilizers will also see a significant reduction.
