#OTD 1927, The Nagpur riots happened. It was the 1st instance of Engineered riots which became a Norm in India in the following years. It's Time to revisit the Birth of Riot template & the Bloody legacy of engineered riots in India. Nagpur riots reported in NYTimes in 1927
The terrible legacy of engineered riots in India began with these riots. The Template for "inciting unrest, stirring up riots by provoking Muslims (or whichever the target Community is) via religious places, and declaring themselves as the saviour of Hindus" was born this day
Using This Template RSS grew throughout the nation and expanded exponentially from 60 to 500 branches between 1931 & 1939, by which time its membership had reached 60000. it boasts of 60000+ shakhas today.
Today With millions of members & thousands of elected reps, including 2 Presidents, 2 Prime Ministers, several CM, & numerous frontal orgs, it is the largest & most influential Hindu organization in existence. & Operates the SanghParivar. But how did it all start?
1. Breakdown of Hindu-Muslim relations
"I'm the Prodigal Son of British Govt, I'll be Loyal Subject, I was misguided, & I'm showing Good behaviour". The Saga of Savarkar's sycophantic apology letters to the British Govt from the Andaman Jail Is well known, So, let's skip ahead.
The Deal was simple "let me go & I'll be loyal to the British". Savarkar started delivering immediately. He assisted the British with his divisive ideology of "Hindutva" which popularised the Two Nation doctrine, So much so that many alleged him to be the founder of this theory. To read up on How the sangh and hindutva betrayed India duri
The results were evident as well, Due to the constant hatemongering & Communalisation, So many riots broke out in 1920s that it could be called the decade of Riots. The breaking down of mutual trust between the Hindu and Muslim masses led to riots one after the other.
The Number of Riots Spiked
1923 - 11
1924- 18
1925- 16
1926- 35
1927- 40
these riots mostly happened in the states of Bengal, Punjab, & UP.
2. Birth of RSS
Sometime After the 1923 Nagpur riots, Keshav Hedgewar started working on forming Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, The RSS, a Brahmanical org with the Target of Making India Hindu Rashtra. he made the org public on 27 September 1925.
3. The Riots
The Procession passed before the Masjid in Nagpur's Mahal Area, beating the drums, religious chants and music armed with lathis, bhaala, & khanjar. In resp, Som Muslim youths took out a rally in the area shouting slogans, armed with weapons.
Around 2PM miscreants started pelting stones & set fire to Muslim Quarters & the riots started spreading. According to the reports, 22-25 were killed & 100s more were injured in 2-days. By the time troops moved in many Muslim houses and mosques were vandalized.
4. Engineered Riots!!
The 1927 Procession had some imp differences compared to the earlier ones.
4a. This time around, Procession did not stop the Music in front of Masjids which they always did. Why did this change occur?
Explaining this, Jaffrelot in his book “The Hindu Nationalist Movement & Indian Politics”, records a testimony saying that Hedgewar led the earlier Ganesha procession in 1927, beating the drums in defiance of the usual practice not to pass in front of the mosque with music.
4b. Another Difference suggested by some is that this time the procession was accompanied by religious chants and music which consisted of Lathis Sticks, bhaala (Spears), & khanjar (Knives), & was armed with weapons like knives.
4c. Reportedly, RSS moved 16 groups of armed men in Hindu areas to "defend". This also begs question that if riots were spontaneous & RSS had no hand in engineering them, how was it able to Move its “troops” into Hindu areas? More Importantly, this happened...
...when its founder & leader Hedgewar was reportedly not in the city? This shows preparedness. Rioting happened in Muslim areas (Mahal etc.), what was the need for RSS to move armed groups? Was it Really to defend Hindus against the riots (that they most probably had engineered?)
The absence of Hedgewar from Nagpur on the same day too raises some questions. Given that he was Founder of RSS & such a big step was not possible without him. He was the one who on last occasion personally led miscreants to beat drums in front of Masjids to provoke Muslims.
The activities of Hedgewar and the preparedness of Sangh during the riots and the Subsequent trumpeting of themself as Hindu Saviours, point in one direction that these riots were unlike other riots and engineered meticulously.
The 1927 Nagpur Riots started the bloody legacy of engineered riots in India. It also propelled Sangh into the National scene and made it what it is today.
In 2006, On The intervening night of April 4 & 5, a blast rocked House of Laxman Rajkondwar, allegedly an RSS worker. His son Naresh & Himanshu Panse, VHP activists, were killed while assembling the bomb. Its believed that the bomb was to be used to target a mosque in Aurangabad.
These blasts were seen in a series of other blasts that rocked the Marathwada region, Maharashtra. In the other 2 Cases in Parbhani (2003) & Purna (2004), the accused of throwing bombs at mosques, were cleared by the courts.
It's ironic that in all such cases where Sangh members are accused, an overwhelming majority of Cases are pending in courts for Decades and then end up in acquittals mainly Due to "Lack of Evidence", with no further investigations, a classic telltale sign of Coverup.
On 2nd Sept, Yashwant Shinde, an RSS worker for about 25 yrs, also affiliated with Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) & Bajrang Dal asserted that these blasts were planned and done by Bajrangdal (& RSS) to Polarise India before 2004 Loksabha elections
Here is his Video that was released alongside his petition in the court
So From #NagpurRiots to #NandedBlasts #NagpurToNanded, The Hatesheet of Sangh's Hindutva Rashtra is marred with blood and oppression of innocents. It's Time the world takes notice of this menace and stops seeing them as some cultural drama troupe!!

#battleofAinJalut #LongThread
In the 13th Century AD, the Tatars committed a great aggression against the Muslims on the Muslim lands, and as a result, the Caliph was killed, & 3/4 of the Muslim lands, including the capital Baghdad, came under the control of the Tatars.
At the Battle of Ain Jalut, he may have also been the first person to use explosive hand cannons in combat. The Mongol defeat set the stage for their subsequent withdrawal & then Conversion to Islam. The Battle was seminal as it protected both the Islamic world and Europe.
In these testing times, a great leader emerged. "Fatih Sultan" Mahmud Saif al-Din Qutz & the battle he won is known as "Ain Jalut". He was ably supported by his lieutenant Ruknuddin Baybars, who played a heroic role in implementing the war tactics of Mongols on themselves.

August 15, 1947, was a historical day in the eventful history of India. India got independence after a long and heroic struggle against British colonialism. this is how RSS "celebrated" Independence Day 75 years ago.
In 1947, Sanghis Celebrated Independence day by
1. Denigrating Tiranga
2. Abusing the constitution
3. Abusing Democracy & Secularism!!
1. Tiranga:
“The ppl who've come to power by the kick of fate may give in our hands tricolor but it wil nevr be respected & owned by Hindus. The word "3" is in itself an evil, & a flag having 3 colors wil certainly produce a vry bad psychological effect & is injurious to country.

Since it's #WorldSanskritDay today.
I think it's apt to Use #Sanskrit to point out some things regarding how Urdu has been demonized in India. Especially by the RW.. using criteria like Origin, mass usage, body or work etc. So here we go.
Origin:
#Sanskrit-Northern Syria.
#Urdu- North India around Delhi in about the 12th CE.
scroll.in/article/737715…
Usage by people:
#Sanskrit: never the language of the masses, the usage was restricted to the UCs.
#Urdu: as it was founded by the Masses From the time of its origin was always been the language of the masses.
