Dr. @gilanius thank you for your seller work by bringing the #Balochistan #mangroves within mapping. Their declaration as #ProtectedForests is also an acknowledgement of the miracle that late #BabaeMangroves Tahir Qureshi wrought in places where they never existed. 
It would now be in the fitness of things if #mianiHor & Shadikaur in Gwadar should be dedicated to him. How about it @BalochistanFor1 If not now then when! Isn't it great to see this @rahimgwd @RafiulH87658231 finally? Something to toot the horn about! @sherryrehman @aminattock

It was important to document and hopefully these findings will be in the updated carbon stock taking of Pakistan.
Just one suggestion. Maybe the route followed by @sindhforestdept of declaring ALL #mangroves as protected could have been followed so any new area with substantial plantation does not need to be separately notified? Just a thought @BalochistanFor1 @faizkakar2 @alishahjourno

My only fear, which I expressed to @gilanius when he shared the good news was that commitment under #CBD #Aichi targets (which we have already missed) to declare #mianihor an #MPA, (Marine Protected Area) will be shelved. A fear shared by #moazzamkhan of @WWFPak. Hope I am wrong
