Everything NFL fantasy football...

You need to know from Week 3.

To dominate in Week 4.
#Saints vs #Panthers

Alvin Kamara totaled 17 touches for 73 yards after a Week 2 absence.

Caught just 2 of 7 targets.
Rookie Chris Olave led the team in targets for a second straight week…

With a 31% target share (13 targets).

He’s hit at least a 31% target in two consecutive weeks.

72 yards in 1st half alone (5 targets).

THE AIR YARDS WORKED.
Michael Thomas caught five of five targets for 49 yards. Suffered a foot injury and did not return.

Jarvis Landry also suffered an injury after catching just 2 passes for 22 yards.

If injuries are serious…WR Marquez Callaway is next-man up.

Caught a TD at the end
Christian McCaffrey totaled 27 touches for 115 yards. Rushed for 108 yards.

But just 2 catches for 7 yards on 4 targets.

Career-low in a game CMC didn’t leave due to injury.
CMC has been under 30 receiving yards every game this season.

He has not had a game with sub-30 rec yards where he didn’t leave hurt...

since the middle of the 2019 season….
D.J. Moore led the team in targets (6) but just one catch for 2 yards.

Added 2 carries for 13 yards. Guess Baker Mayfield wasn’t a major upgrade.

People will be ready to bury Moore, but he plays Arizona next week.

The targets, the routes and the talent still there. buy low.
#Texans vs #Bears

Dameon Pierce RB1 season rolls on.

20 carries for 80 yards to Rex Burkead’s 3 for 9.

12 for 66 in the 1st half (5.5 ypc)
In games where the Texans can be competitive…Pierce can be a big producer on early downs as a rusher.

Just note that Burkhead still has the receiving role (5 targets) making Pierce very game-flow dependent.
Brandin Cooks led the way with 7 targets. But held back by Davis Mills’ horrible QB play.

Just two catches for 22 yards. Par for the course when Mills is your QB.

Chris Moore (slot) led Texans in receiving (63). The Bears continue to be a slot funnel defense…
Justin Fields attempted 17 passes. Tying his season-high (Week 1). Yay.

David Montgomery left with an injury, opening the door for one of my favorite RBs…

Khalil Herbert to absolutely smash.

157 rushing yards on 20 carries with two TDs.

Also added two catches for 12 yards.
Including today Herbert has never rushed for fewer than 75 yards in a game he has played at least 50% of the snaps…

His average is just over 100 yards per game. (5 games).

Montgomery has rushed for 75 yards-plus 5 times since the start of 2021.
Worth aggressively on the waiver wire if Monty’s injury is severe.

Listed as day-to-day, which suggests he will likely miss at least 1 week of action.
Darnell Mooney — 6 targets, 2 catches for 23 yards.

Just not enough passing volume in this offense. Time to cut bait.

Nobody has more than one catch in 1st half.
#Chiefs vs #Colts

This Colts run defense is literally no joke.

Clyde-Edwards Helaire: Zero rushes on 7 carries.

He totaled 12 touches. With 5 catches for 39 yards.

With a touch average between 11-12 through the 1st 3 weeks…
CEH remains a screaming sell-high.

Jerick McKinnon rushed 7 times for 20 yards and also got work in the RZ.

Edwards-Helaire is not the exclusively featured goal-line back.

JuJu Smith-Schuster bounced back in a soft matchup versus zone coverage.

Five for 89 on 8 targets.
Still only a 23% target share as the Chiefs spread the love between receivers.
Michael Pittman after missing Week 2:

24% target share. 8 catches for 72 yards.

Jonathan Taylor — 24 touches for 91 yards (no TDs, 5 targets)

Rookie TE Jelani Woods caught 2 TDs.

Don’t go chasing this three-headed TE monster in Indy
#Bills vs # Dolphins

Devin Singletary tied Stefon Diggs with a team-leading…

11 TARGETS!

Followed by Isaiah McKenzie (9 targets), then Gabriel Davis (6 targets)

Clearly there is a much bigger emphasis on getting these Bills RBs involved…
As pass catchers with James Cook and Zack Moss combining for 6 more targets.

Singletary operated as the RB1 overall with 18 overall touches.

Moss/Cook combined for 10.
Miami Dolphins RB usage. Take 3

Chase Edmonds - 6 carries, 1 target, Raheem Mostert 8 carries, 2 targets.

Edmonds got the two TDs inside the 5-yard line…a role we weren’t sure he had.
Jaylen Waddle - 33% target share (102 receiving yards, 6 targets)

Tyreek Hill - 22% target share (33 rec yards, 4 targets).

Less passing volume, but the duo still combined for 50%-plus of the team’s targets.
#Lions vs #Vikings

Lions played with a lead and heavily relied on Jamaal Williams…

20 carries for 87 yards with two rushing scores. (10 in the fourth quarter)

D’Andre Swift had seven carries for 31 yards. Also added 4 targets and 3 catches for 15 yards.
If someone wants to panic sell Swift...

you humbly oblige
Josh Reynolds led the Lions in targets (10) and yards (96)

Followed by Amon-Ra St. Brown (9) — with 73 receiving yards.
Dalvin Cook left the game with an injury after rushing for 96 yards.

Alexander Mattison is slated to be a fantasy RB1 in the wings if Cook is out.
Adam Thielen led the Vikings in targets (8) alongside KJ Osborn (8).

Justin Jefferson…just three catches for 18 yards. Woof.

Irv Smith also 6 targets, but 2 catches for 32 yards.
#Ravens versus #Patriots

FINALLY.

Rhamondre Stevenson got the snaps last week…

And got the touches in Week 3.

Season-high 16 touches for over 100 yards.

6.1 yards per carry.

5 targets and four catches for 28 yards.
Damien Harris still scored a RZ TD.

But fewer targets (3) and carries (11).

Also less efficient (3.7 ypc).
No Jakobi Meyers…

DeVante Parker with a whopping 156 yards as Mac Jones was chucking the ball downfield…

10 targets (31% target share).

Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor each with 5 targets.

Hunter Henry had 3 catches all season…
Jones also left game limping on last play.

X-Rays were negative, but still a concern for the Patriots 2nd-year QB.
J.K. Dobbins played for the 1st time since 2020.

Seven carries for 23 yards. 2 catches for 17 yards.

Justice Hill split time as the No. 2 Back. 6 carries for 60 yards.
Mark Andrews doing Mark Andrews things

48% target share and 8-89-2

Rashod Bateman didn’t score or see many targets (4).

But was still efficient - two catches for 59 yards.
#Raiders versus #Titans

Derrick Henry

20 carries for 85 yards and 1 TD…

But also caught 5 passes on 6 targets!

6 targets matched a career high...

The 5 catches were the 2nd-most he’s ever had in a game.
Robert Woods led the way with 9 targets.

Treylon Burks just 2 targets and one catch for 13 yards in the red zone.

Josh Jacobs posted 13 carries for 66 yards.

But finally got more use as a receiver — 6 targets: 5 catches for 31 yards.
The once-crowned cardio king from Week 1, Mack Hollins, continues to ball tf out.

Without Renfrow…he tied Davante Adams with a team-leading 10 tgts.

Hung 158 yds and 1 TD.

And he did that after having just 1 catch in the 1st hal.

Darren Waller tgts (5) same as Foster Moreau
#Eagles versus #Commanders

Miles Sanders got the work — 15 carries, but turned it into just 46 yards.

Also just one target. Woof.
Devonta Smith — 12 targets, 8 catches for 169 yards 1 TD

A.J. Brown — 10 targets, 5 catches for 85 yards 1 TD

Dallas Goedert — 4 targets, 3 catches for 26 yards 1 TD.

Too much upside for all of these guys any given week to bench them.

Jaguars in Week 4….rip duval.
We knew that Carson Wentz couldn’t keep up his production in a tough matchup…

211 passing yards and zero scores.
Curtis Samuel led the team in targets (24% target share this season)

10 targets, seven catches and three carries.

He has 38 combined carries and targets this season…

So safe every week with his volume among WRs.
Terry McLaurin — nine targets and went over 100 yards.

But still just a 21% target share. Not elite. Would still elect to sell high.

Jahan Dotson — 8 targets but just two catches.
#Bengals vs #Jets

Joe Flacco...just another day at the office (52 attempts)

Tyler Conklin - 8 targets
Breece Hall - 11 targets (23% target share)
Garrett Wilson - 10 targets (in and out with injury)
Elijah Moore - 10 targets
Corey Davis - 5 targets (back to irrelevance)
Moore’s targets are good, but the results (4 for 49) leave a lot to be desired.

Disconnect with him and Flacco.

Likely a buy-low with the hopes that the QB change back to Zach Wilson favors him.

Hall seeing the massive target volume over Michael Carter is also eye-opening.
11 to 2 is massive.

Their carries were more split (8 to 11) in favor of Carter. Although they both rushed for 39 yards.

Buy Hall now before his massive breakout game. It’s coming.

2 of 1st three NFL games with 9-plus targets for a rookie RB should not be overlooked…
Ja’Marr Chase with a team-high 29% target share…

But Tee Higgins was on his way to a monster day.

Before exiting due to injury, he had five catches for 93 yards on 7 targets in 1st half alone…
Tyler Boyd’s yardage mostly came on his 56-yd TD but he’s a priority add if Higgins misses any time.

Hayden Hurst just two targets. Came into the game questionable which may have influenced his play.
#Jaguars vs #Chargers

Chargers' offense looked out of sorts…

Justin Herbert coming in with the rib injury.

Austin Ekeler just four carries for 5 yards.

Salvaged production with 8 catches for 48 yards.

Mike Williams just one catch for a 15-yard TD on six targets.
Josh Palmer led the team in total targets (9) with Keenan Allen out of the lineup…

But give credit to this Jags defense that looks like a force after 3 weeks…

Speaking of #DUVAL
James Robinson putting up another RB1 performance: 20 touches 116 yards 1 TD.

Travis Etienne also got some love, 16 touches for 75 yards.
Zay Jones led the team in targets (11) followed by Christian Kirk (9).

Both scored TDs from Lawrence.

Jags QB got 5 TDs and 0 INTs last two weeks.

TE Evan Engram doing Evan Engram things…

Looks like a solid streamer from Week 2:

One catch for nine yards. Classic.
#Falcons vs #Seahawks

Cordarelle Patterson still is not seeing any worthwhile role as a receiver…

One target again.

But getting it done as a rusher. 17 carries for 141 yards and 1 score.

Tyler Allgeier second with 6 carries for 25 yards.
Kyle Pitts SHOWS LIFE.

Team-leading 8 targets. 5 grabs for 87 yards.

Drake London — must-start territory.

3-54-1. Uber consistent
In a more competitive game, the backfield was much more one-sided.

Rashaad Penny led with 14 carries for 66 yards. No other RB had more than 3 carries.

Walker did get three targets again though.

DK Metcalf - 12 targets 5-64-1
Tyler Lockett - 11 targets 9-76-0
Still the top two guys and encouraging they have had some productive weeks (Lockett more so than Metcalf) with Geno at QB.

Also more evidence of how bad the Falcons secondary is.

Face Browns in Week 4.
#Rams vs #Cardinals

James Conner: 16 touches for 57 yards. No TDs and 3 catches.

Still clear-cut RB1, with Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin combining for just 7 touches.
Marquise Brown — 17 targets (31% target share) 14 catches for 140 yards.

Gotta keep playing him as long as DeAndre Hopkins is suspended…potentially sell-high opportunity.
Greg Dortch and Zach Ertz each had 10 targets.

Offense has run through three guys in the passing game, especially with injury to A.J. Green.
Look before the haters see.

Cam Akers (5.1 yards per carry) on a team-leading 12 attempts.

Darrell Henderson had just four carries. One target.

Although not all great for Akers smh. Zero targets and fumbled at the goal line.
Cooper Kupp’s most bizarre statline I’ve seen in recent memory.

Just four catches for 44 yards on six targets…

But not surprised by Allen Robinson duding out with 2 catches for 23 yards on 5 targets.

Told you to sell high after he scored last week.
#Buccaneers vs #Packers

Russell Gage operated as the No. 1 receiver for the Bucs

12 catches for 87 yards on 13 targets.

Nobody else saw more than six targets,
Leonard Fournette also totaled 17 touches (12 carries, 5 catches)...

but only for 70 scoreless yards.
With all the injuries to the WRs…

Rookie WR Romeo Doubs led Green Bay in targets (8),
Followed by Robert Tonyan (7) and then Allen Lazard (6).

Doubs compiled 73 receiving yards and scored.

Lazard also scored for the second straight week.

Perfect time to sell, considering his lack of targets in back-to-back weeks.
Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon both only had 12 carries. Jones had one more reception (3 vs 2).

He has exactly three catches through 1st 3 games, slightly lower than his average last season (3.4).

That you need to draft to 10x your odds

Of winning your league in 2022.

That should earn early-down work...

Over Marlon Mack

Mack is only on a 1-year $2M deal.

Only a matter of time till the rookie sees an expanded role.

The Texans have an early bye week -- Week 6..

A bump in usage should be in play from Week 7 onward.

As you prepare for your fantasy football draft…

Stay ahead of your opponents

With ALL the major takeaways you need…

From NFL Preseason Week 1
Atlanta Falcons

Pecking of RBs

Cordarelle Patterson got the start…

Followed by Qadree Ollison Damien Williams and Caleb Huntley..

And then 2022 fifth-round pick, Tyler Allgeier
Ollison and Huntley got a ton of preseason usage last year..

So I wouldn't read much into it.

Allegeir looks like RB3 at the moment…

Still tough to get behind drafting him in 12-team leagues

Especially considering the opening schedule…
