Hi I'm a Republican, we nominated a candidate last week who praised Roe v Wade for protecting "white life" and support Trump who called African nations "shithole countries" & Mexicans "rapists." We promoted Steve Scalise to leadership after we found out he spoke at a white

That anyone's even debating the legitimacy of this SCOTUS is in & of itself ridiculous. 5 of the 6 RW Justices were put on by a POTUS who LOST the popular vote. Approved by a Senate where their side is represented by millions(?) tens of millions (?) fewer voters. But that CONT

Not gonna write another long thread on guns rn, just give my personal opinion as someone who's worked closely on the issue for yrs w Everytown, Brady, etc, has written dozens of pieces on the issue & was once a competitive shooter who enjoyed target shooting. Guns are a public 1

health crisis in this country. A pandemic that beyond mass shootings kills via homicide, suicide, accident, negligence every day. Like w all public health crises, be it smoking or drunk driving, the goal is to improve health & reduce death. So AFAIC, if what we've seen so far 2

is offered as legislation, you vote for it. Absolutely. Bc this is about saving lives. And if some states add red flag laws bc they're funded, if there are more background checks on those 18-21, lives will be saved. And it could be someone you love--or you. But I'd be remiss if 3
