3/ This implies that in some states PhDs are full-fledged workers, have maternity leave, sick leave, pay contributions... while in others they are equivalent to students on a scholarship. But the discrepancies do not stop there. #PhD #AcademicChatter
4/ The differences in services for mobility abroad, mental health support, supervision monitoring, skill development are abysmal. And I think we need to work on these discrepancies to decrease inequalities between universities at local, regional, national and European levels. #EU
5/ Commissioner @GabrielMariya's response was super positive. She confirmed that this is a problem that needs to be solved and reported possible solutions. Some of which were in line with those I had also proposed (even happier!). #SciencePolicy #EYY2022
