These are #Iran-made "Shahed-136" kamikaze drones.

Russia calls them the "Gerad-2 loitering munitions".

Iran's IRGC has been posting propaganda footage about these Iranian drones used by Russia in their Telegram channel.

Reports from #Iran indicate at least 60 inmates were killed & injured after being attacked by #Evin Prison security forces and anti-riots on Saturday night.

This attack was launched in response to #Evin inmates in wards 7 and 8 taking to the prison yard and voicing support for the ongoing #IranRevoIution2022 and chanting slogans specifically targeting regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Security forces used live bullets, pellet rounds, tear gas, and flashbang grenades in the attack.
Fifty inmates of Ward 8, where political prisoners are held, were transferred out; 15 of which were taken to #Evin clinic for the severity of their wounds.

Blinken held a meeting on Friday with a few "civil society activists" to discuss the latest situation in #Iran.

He & the Biden admin need to explain why they invited Sherry Hakimi who is very close to Tehran's regime & #IranLobby group NIAC.

As Hakimi says, she is very fond of #Iran's former foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, aka Iran's chief apologist. Not everyone is invited to a dinner with Zarif. Only the ultimate regime loyalists are.

Hakimi published a list of sources that she believes represent the voice of #Iran's people.

The names are quite telling. Nearly all are among the list of Iran's network of apologists/lobbyists.

Inmate of Ward 8, #Evin Prison:
-Constant gunfire was heard from Ward 7 at 8:45 pm Saturday
-Inmates in Ward 8 wanted to help, but the attack on Ward 8 also began and they were shooting directly at us
-Many inmates were wounded with pellet rounds

-One inmate was wounded with a live bullet, had major bleeding
-Col. Mahmoudi went to Ward 8 with his forces & said: "Your mothers will be mourning you. The day has come for all of you to die!"
-They then viciously attacked the inmates. Some were transferred to unknown locations

#Iran's state media claim the #Evin fire began from the sewing workshop. This is a lie.
All workshops are closed at sunset with the daily roll call. One of the sewing workshops is located behind Ward 8 & another near the administrative parking lot.
