1/ Borrell's Garden perpetrated unspeakable atrocities on Africans & other indigenous populations: genocide, slavery, colonialism, nuclear bombs, agent orange! And now they want the world to accept them as paragons of decency!

2/ The Garden People took a Congolese Pygmy by the name Ota Benga and kept him in a Bronx Zoo Monkey House. He committed suicide in 1916.

3/ In 1958, as part of Expo 58, Belgium put 598 people – including 273 men, 128 women and 197 children, a total of 183 families – brought over from Africa on display. The spectators "threw money or bananas over the closure of bamboo,” one journalist wrote at the time.

4/ In 1781, the captain of a ship called Zong gave the order to throw sick slaves overboard so that the owners can collect the insurance. 54 Africans were chained together, then thrown overboard. By the time the ship had reached the Caribbean,132 persons had been murdered.

5/ Slave families were routinely separated. “...the child was torn from the arms of its mother amid the most heart-rending shrieks from the mother & child on the one hand, & the bitter oaths & cruel lashes from the tyrants on the other.” Mother was sold to the highest bidder.

6/ According to Fray Bartolome de Las Casas, @JosepBorrellF's ancestors, the Conquistadors '... train their fierce dogs to attack, kill and tear to pieces the Indians... The Spaniards keep alive their dogs' appetite for human beings in this way...

.......And the Spaniards have butcher shops where the corpses of Indians are hung up, on display, and someone will come in and say, more or less,"Give me a quarter of that rascal hanging there, to feed my dogs until I can kill another one for them."

7/ Mister @JosepBorrellF of @EU_Commission, you can stand on top of your ivory tower & make grand racist pronouncements, but don't forget your tower is built on top of the flesh & bone of millions of people brutalized by your #GardenersOfEvil.
