While urbanization can bring health & economic benefits, rapid & unplanned urbanization can create inequity among the population, including migrants & other disadvantaged people.
#Malaria is a life-threatening disease transmitted to people by mosquitoes. In a few years most people living in malaria-endemic countries will reside in cities.

The pandemic continues to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern:

The Emergency Committee advised the DG that the #COVID19 pandemic remains a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. @DrTedros accepted the advice of the Committee.
Although the committee acknowledged progress in controlling the #COVID19 outbreak in many countries and the high levels of population immunity, concerns remain.
