SitRep - 06/11 - "Mud season has started"

Daily overview of events in the war between #Russia and #Ukraine. With also a brief look at the front lines in the east and south of the country.

As usual we start with daily losses and captured or destroyed equipment.
Today was a day with relatively a lot trophy footage but let's start with some destruction. A #T80 tank hit by a Javelin

Some scorched #Russian tanks in the east

A melted #T72 in the south.
In the village of #Golovchino, #Belgorod region, #Russia the AFU 🇺🇦 hit an oil depot.
The tank inscription reads: "The Russians are coming".

I think it should have been "The Russians are leaving".

Let's head over to general events. Starting with a statement from Volodymr Rogov regarding defense lines in #Zaporizhia region.

Again, video's started to appear from unhappy mobilized Russian soldiers. Complaining to their leadership about the horrible conditions they are held in.
I think they all know what their destiny is, and footage of the last place of that destiny appeared today.

A unit from Yakutia already gave the example why these cemetaries are filled with dead Russians and they even buried them on the side of the road.

Meanwhile mobilized got into a fight with each other on a market in #Omsk.
To the fronts, #Kherson

➡️Shelling from 🇷🇺 increased
➡️Locals report that the police are unreachable by phone the whole day. Chaos and tension is rising in #Kherson
➡️In Nova Kakhovka the AFU targeted a building holding 200 Russian soldiers, killing many.
#Bakhmut

➡️Russian sources claim they pushed AFU out of #Ivangrad (black dashed area). So far this looks like Russian echo chambers at work... We wait for confirmation
➡️The 🇺🇦 4th Rapid Reaction brigade and 58th motorized infantry brigade reinforced #Bakhmut
#Vuhledar-#Pavlivka

➡️No big map changes
➡️Reassessed the 🇷🇺 area of control away from Pavlivka towards Yehorivka where most units fled.
➡️The 🇷🇺 155th brigade I talked about earlier now makes an appeal to the governor of Primorye. They talk about a “difficult situation while..
blood is pouring and pouring”. Referring to the heavy losses this brigade took when they tried to attack #Pavlivka.
➡️More then 300 men from the 155th brigade are dead, wounded or missing. Half of their equipment is gone also. Literally cutting the brigade in half.
#Kreminna

➡️No big map changes
➡️Reassessed the area of 🇺🇦 control a bit more east towards #Ploshchanka after a third day of Russian shelling in the town in a row. I don't want to call it liberated, but AFU is most likely present there. AFU dominant gray zone.
#Svatove

➡️No map changes
➡️Heavy fighting is reported around Kuzemivka area.
➡️AFU hit Svatove overnight with HIMARS missiles, inflicting serious damage to enemy brigades.

Locals from #Kherson report that Russian forces have abandoned checkpoints in Chornobaivka, Stepanivka, Bilozerka and Korabelnyi district south of the Kosheva river.
This adds up to earlier reports of locals reporting the same.

SitRep - 02/11 - "Something is looming..."

An overview of daily events in #Ukraine. No detailed look at the front lines today as nothing has changed. But as i have stated today, things might change the upcoming days..

We start with #Russian losses. What is striking is that in recent days (it seems that this is related to the increased number of Russians mobilized at the front) the number of casualties in men has been continuously above 650.

Meatgrinder coming into effect
During the night 12 out of 13 enemy shahed-136 drones were shot down. Just before i wrote this SitRep another wave of Drone attacks was reported. Probably tomorrow we will know the results.
