EoT goes a lot further than Internet of Things (IoT), in which devices simply connect to each other.
An example of IoT is pre-heating your house before you get home by connecting your phone to your thermostat).

6 days before Vodafone DAB with EWF was announced, EWF announced collaborating with Kigen & Kore to provide secure connectivity using eSIM & OPEN IoT SAFE tech.

23) In my eyes, this is not a coincidence.
The MWC 2022 event where the collaboration with EWF was announced showed Vodafone as an IoT partner of Kigen & Vodafone is a known partner of Kore for IoT services. See article + screenshots:

It seems to me, the Kore & Kigen partnership did not come out of nowhere, it was needed for the Vodafone DAB platform. Just like connecting to Corda.

It was not hidden that EWF is entering the multiverse, but to me, there was more to it than first met the eye.
