As a result of drug resistance, antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents become ineffective and infections become difficult or impossible to treat, increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness and death.
⚠ In 2019, nearly 5 million human deaths worldwide were associated with bacterial #AntimicrobialResistance (AMR) and 1.27 million human deaths were directly attributable to it.
In the run-up to and during the @FIFAWorldCup, children worldwide are challenging players of participating teams to celebrate goals ⚽️ with fresh new moves simply by posting a video on their social media pages using the hashtag #BringTheMoves.
Children can also download GenMove, a digital app that uses artificial intelligence to encourage children to be physically active daily throughout the @FIFAWorldCup. The app will be launched on 19 November at the Walk the Talk - #HealthForAll Challenge.
