The Centre for Policy Research in Maritime Studies (C-PRiMeS), a centre established in the @IMU_HQ to promote #research and #policy studies on the #maritime sector, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways on 4.11.2022.
The Centre launched a Maritime Talk Series, INMarTs (IMU-NIAS Maritime Talks) on 7.11.2022. The programme started with a discussion on a book titled ‘Under Water Domain Awareness’ written by Dr Prakash Panneerselvam, Prof. Rajaram Nagappa, and Admiral (Retd.) R. N. Ganesh.

The afternoon session critically reflected on the Indian Ports Bill 2022, and the discussion was led by Dr H. L. Yogamala, Capt. Kishore Sundaresan, and Capt. Ramanujam.
