In June 2018, Benjamin joined UKIP, along with YouTuber Mark Meechan (Count Dankula), & far-right conspiracy theorist Paul Joseph Watson. The trio's membership has been described by political analysts as part of a shift to the far-right in UKIP under Gerard Batten's leadership.

Extreme right-wing terrorism accounts for one in five terrorist investigations in the UK, with recent cases including the 2016 murder of Jo Cox by Thomas Mair, who was motivated by neo-Nazi far-right political views, & had connections to several far-right organisations.
In addition to Jo Cox, in 2017, Darren Osborne drove a van into a crowd leaving a mosque in Finsbury Park, killing one & injuring nine others.

Osborne had acquired far-right publications from Tommy Robinson's EDL & Jim Dowson & Jayda Fransen's far-right Britain First Party.

Homeschooled Jenna Ellis, a former assistant professor of legal studies at Colorado Christian University, was hired by Trump in November 2019 as a senior legal adviser, lying about the election & making efforts to overturn Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election.
Ellis self-published 'The Legal Basis for a Moral Constitution', a book arguing the Constitution of the US can only be interpreted in accordance with the Bible. She misleadingly presents herself as a "constitutional law attorney" despite having no history in any federal cases.

About the Scottish referendum: British citizens are led to believe that in a functioning democracy, a government's legitimacy & moral right to use state power is justified & lawful only when consented, or agreed to, by the people over which that political power is exercised.
Edward Herman &Noam Chomsky in their book, Manufacturing Consent, advanced a #propaganda model for the news media, in which coverage of current events is skewed by corporations & the state in order to manufacture the consent of the governed. This is the case in Britain.
The people of Scotland have in no way, shape, or form, given their consent to be governed by the cabal of increasingly unhinged extremists currently occupying Parliament.

It should also be noted that just 29% of the UK electorate voted Tory in 2019.
