You never hear of #animalrights activists having empathy with their counterparts in India, even when those animal rights activists are kileld for their efforts at protecting cows

In India doing the exact same animal rights activism as in the western nations earns the tag of being right-wing Hindu fascists. In this upside-down situation #AnimalCruelty is lauded as #secularism

Yet when it comes to India, eating beef is a sign of secularism and that the country is safe from these evil right-wing Hindus. This is the same #BBC which would say the exact opposite in western countries bbc.co.uk/news/world-asi…
Yet the same BBC will not mention how animal rigthts activists trying to protect cows and stop their slaughter for beef, pay with their lives for it. news18.com/news/india/baj…

1. The CAA and CAB were fast track asylum for refugees coming to India fleeing persecution in neighbouring Islamic states of Pakistan, Bangldesh and Afghanistan. This meant Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist minorities who are legally oppressed.
2. Yet the mainstream media backed by India's so called secularists jumped on this as evidence of yet more anti-Muslim discrimination by India's right wing fascist Hindu government. Why for example were not Shias and Ahmadiyyas given the same fast track asylum?
3. Ahmadiyyas in particular are singled out for persecution in Pakistan, suffering deadly attacks. Shias also suffer to a lesser extent. Hence the law was held to be against Muslims.

Animal Rebellion protesters entered Nusr-Er, a restaurant which serves gold-plated steaks costing up to £1,450, at about 18:00 GMT on Saturday. The activists said they targeted the steakhouse in Knightsbridge because it was symbolic of a "broken system". bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…
And yet not a single extreme right wing Hindu in sight! This is because in other situations, the BBC praises such places and thinks they are the epitome of progress, democracy and secularism. As long as it is in India, and Hindus are the ones protesting about steak.

1. Where were the peace marches by world leaders in India when Lashkar-e-Toiba launched its attack by sea, brazenly from Pakistan: that faithful ally of America, Britain and France? Perhaps it is because with regards to India, France’s leading ‘expert’ is Christophe Jaffrelot.
2. His research is centred on South Asia, focusing on the aspects of nationalism and democracy, Hindu nationalism, caste mobilisation in politics and ethnic conflicts.
3. With titles like The Hindu Nationalist Movement and Indian politics, it will be no surprise where his prejudices lie. For example, on 1 September 2010 he wrote this piece in The Caravan, an Indian publication dedicated to narrative journalism:

1. The radicals delivered talks in English and by taking dawah out of the mosques they gave Islam its street credibility. Hizbut Tahrir accommodated members who had smoked marijuana, been clubbing, or had been into pornography, fast cars and crime.
2. Jihadist gangs gave them respect and recognition. In ‘Fatwa’, Kenan Malik mentions meeting an old friend Hassan:
