For some reason, several @officialABAT partisans keep trying to instigate me to tell them something about this spat their principal has chosen to manufacture with @THISDAYLIVE & @ARISEtv. So, let me oblige them. Here u go, quickly:

I saw this, read it & have only a few things to say:

The Thisday/Arise release was written mostly in verbs; the release from @officialABAT & his people responding to Thisday!/Arise Boards of Editors was written almost entirely in adjectives.

The @officialABAT campaign release is concatenates a lot of non-sequiturs into a text that lacks both intellibility & readability. The authors did not make an effort either to understand themselves what they wrote or to communicate to anyone.

My late mother, one of the best teachers of basic English that I know, always insisted that whenever someone writes in adjectives, it is because they have nothing to say or because they are hiding something. That applies with force to @officialABAT: he may be doing both.

When a presidential candidate who shd be debating his opponents & talking to citizens is instead chasing after debating a media group & its editors, he shd know he has a problem. If he doesn't, then he shd be told he has a terminal crisis.
