Charlie Kirk invoked the Fifth Amendment when asked if he understood his right to invoke the Fifth: #Jan6Committee
Kirk and Turning Point Action gave #Jan6Committee “several thousand documents” and invoked the Fifth when asked about text messages:
Kirk was asked to speak at Jan. 6th rally
Kirk said no. But he then got involved with planning after $1.5 million donation, the committee implies
Kirk backs out even after donation. And the committee wonders to him if he knew of violence or other concerns. And Kirk continues to invoke the Fifth.
Turning Point sent five buses full of people to DC for Jan. 6th and oddly it asked all of them to download Telegram for group chats, all in question to Kirk who invoked Fifth
👀 Charlie Kirk resigned from Trump’s 1776 Commission on Jan. 9th!!!

The Georgia @BORUSG and my university @UNG_News University of North Georgia announced today a 15-member presidential search committee. It has 3 faculty. Under previous policy, faculty would have been majority. 1/x
In August the first search under the new Regents-led search policy, a 20-person Columbus State commitee was named. It had 6 faculty. That 6/20 is ten percent more than UNG 3/15. We are heading in wrong direction. 2/x usg.edu/news/release/c…

As @washingtonpost and @azcentral have shown, Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk have remade the Arizona GOP. Tomorrow’s election then is a referendum on that purge. A win gives Kirk and TPUSA momentum to choose another state to target. Where might they go? 1/x
A caveat: Arizona is literally TP backyard where TP leaders live. It’s hard to do such from afar. But if I were a betting man, I would say TP and Kirk have a few states to choose from to reshape heading into a Trump 2024 run. New “Purple” states or those already divided. 2/x
That might include Georgia, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. With moderate Georgia House speaker retiring a new Trump sycophant in that role might give TP an opening. Kemp isn’t Kari Lake but he isn’t going to reject her either. #gapol 3/x

It has all the hallmarks of a Mark Cuban, Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton etc approach to #highered and would then echo sentiments of those who oversee Florida’s system and flagship.
Sasse wrote this before Biden debt plan limited to certain incomes and amounts announced: “Massive forgiveness of student debt would most help upper-class Americans who are going to be just fine without a bailout. It’s a regressive mistake.”

Ask yourself if you thought Biden’s speech tonight was “political” or even “too political,” what would you have taken out? And still made the theme that MAGA is threat to democracy?
The advocacy for voting Democratic in November by Biden is not solely a partisan move. Giving GOP House means ending #jan6th investigations, putting Covid officials on trial, etc. If GOP gets Senate too democracy gets gut punch.
Biden’s audience: There are indeed Republicans who will vote Biden in 2024 but vote party in 2022. In some districts peeling off them from voting for GOP election liars as SOS for example matters for the democracy.

The preamble labels such people “watchmen” over the US and offers some baseline beliefs such as “the church” has been given “legal power from heaven and now exercise our authority…” I didn’t know heaven had such good lawyers. 2/x

Hillsdale president Larry Arnn was caught calling education majors aka teachers lazy and stupid. So does Hillsdale have an education major? No, but it has its own k-12 campus and curriculum used in many states. Do people running that have Ed degrees? 1/x k12.hillsdale.edu/About/Our-Team/
