That’s exactly right.

It happened to me with #Lyme. I was one of the lucky ones who got the right diagnosis (after 5 months/ 12 docs!) & got better.

Many don’t. #LongCovid #ChronicLyme
I was super healthy. At the prime of my life & music career.

Got a tick bite (likely, in my sleep!) at a wedding in NJ.

Initial flu-like illness lasted 2-3 days. Then I saw rash on shoulder around a tiny bite.

Went to urgent care & they Rx’ed 3 weeks antibiotics.
I was told I caught the Lyme infection early so not to worry.

I took the antibiotics and felt ok. This was in July. Went on with my life.

Woke up one morn in Oct. & all Hell broke loose. Swollen breast, severe pain, severe arm weakness, severe insomnia/ anxiety/ ahnedonia.
I had NONE of these symptoms prior.

It was a living nightmare to go to sleep feeling normal & wake up to my brain & body on🔥 .
I was sent from doctor to doctor and not a single one would CONSIDER the tick bite!

They were SO dogmatic & illogical. I was stunned & appalled & enraged.

I even saw 3 @IDSAInfo docs & not one tested me for other tick-borne infections or considered Lyme had not cleared.
Fast forward to December. I felt I couldn’t breathe.

My internist (worked in NYC hospital) walked me down the hall for an emergency echocardiogram.

I was in ❤️ failure.

It was 100% preventable.
I want to point out that my initial flu-like infection was not that bad and resolved quickly.

CHRONIC INFECTIONS LIKE #Lyme, #Covid, #HIV all often start w a “mild” flu-like illness that ppl recover from.

👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 INITIAL 👏🏻 ILLNESS 👏🏻 OFTEN 👏🏻 ISN’T 👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 PROBLEM. 👏🏻
I was lucky to have seen the bite & rash (diagnostic for Lyme— there is NO early Lyme test & most never see bite!).

I was lucky a friend sent me to Dr. #13 @StevePhillipsMD who discovered I not only still had Lyme but a second infection (ticks are cesspools) called Bartonella.
He saved my ❤️. My life.

My heart failure resolved within abt 6-8 weeks under his care. I pulsed multiple courses of antimicrobials & antibiotics. Also took Chinese herbs under care of Zhang Clinic.

I had NO prob on the treatment. I got my life back in under a year.
When I got better, I couldn’t live w what happened to me knowing how many more were similarly suffering—gaslighted & misled by a medical 🌎 who has no clue abt chronic infections, & in the case of Lyme, thinks they don’t exist! 🤦🏻‍♀️

So much literature. So little curiosity.
Btw- chronic, stealth infections cause SO much autoimmune, psych, neuro dz & they’re SO COMMON!

That’s why @StevePhillipsMD & I wrote a book together called “CHRONIC.”

Treatable infections are ignored Bc there’s no $ in cures & tons in chronic illness!

Think abt it.

Inconvenient Covid truths are bad for business.

Maybe the USG should stop funding incurable pandemic pathogens?

Just an idea.
Here’s a stellar overview of this disgusting subject. washingtonpost.com/nation/interac…

Here are excerpts from email I sent @60Minutes in Sept 2020. They passed on the story of the century; the airborne coverup.

I continued to f/u w multiple news orgs abt bogus masking guidance from gov/ PH. They refused to push back. Airborne & PPE denial=mass death.

Me: I am concerned abt all the sudden deaths we’re seeing.

Many Replies: WHAT R U SAYING?? IT’S THE VIRUS, NOT VAX!!

Me: Huh? I didn’t say it was the vax.

Many replies: IT’S THE VAX, LIAR!!
Please, can we stop reflexively reacting and take a step back?

We are not getting anywhere.

I hate seeing so much division, esp knowing much is being created by gov/ corporations/ complicit media who are expert at manipulating the public.

I pray for ☮️ & ceasefires in 2023.
It has done incredible harm for people (esp MD/scientists) to deny others real experiences. Whether that is losing loved ones to or becoming disabled by the virus, or harmed by vaccine.

It is soul-crushing to see how ppl are being treated & vehemently denied truth.

In a shocking display of journalistic ineptitude, an “award-winning” reporter & science reporter prefer to use a strawman & name-call rather than do honest reporting on the carnage we are witnessing.

What shld be front page news (this article is a year old), completely ignored.
I am not going to post their tweets as I don’t want ppl harassing them but I find the lack of curiosity among MSM around this topic stunning.

Here is a link to the article abt the 40% (!!) rise of deaths in 18-64 year olds.

I was called “a conspiracy theorist” (lol) and a “ghoul” (🤦🏻‍♀️) for posting this.

BY TWO JOURNALISTS.

They’d rather attack ME than, idk, do their effing jobs?

This is a fantastic thread on the benefits of #Nattokinase, which is reportedly helping a lot of #LongCovid patients.

I’ve been hearing abt it for years within #Lyme community but never did a deep dive until recently.
“Nattokinase keeps blood optimally flowing & promotes cardiovascular health. According to research, it can lower blood pressure, help reduce risk of atherosclerosis, help lower lipids, support optimal blood flow with its anticoagulant properties, & may even be neuroprotective.”
“Nattokinase works its cardioprotective magic by its unique ability to dissolve fibrin, a protein that helps our body form clots. As we age, we can experience an increase in blood viscosity or thickness.”

🗳Given the multitude of 🦠 pathogens that cause behavioral changes (even mental illness), including #rabies, #Lyme, #toxoplasmosis, #Trypanosoma, etc, I am curious how many are noticing behavioral changes with Covid.

What do you observe?
“Join us as we share tales of some of the creepiest parasites around — those that control the brains of their human hosts, sometimes leaving insanity and death in their wake. These are the tales of neurological parasites.”

The many strains of Wolbachia can do amazing things to their insect hosts: change their sex, kill their offspring, and poss even create new species. And, in the process, they might just provide enough benefits for their hosts to make it all worthwhile. arstechnica.com/science/2011/1…
