#Urgent - Journalist Fathi bin Lazraq calls for rejecting the measures taken by the legitimate government to raise false and deadly prices for the Yemeni people.
Yemeni journalist and activist Fathi bin Lazraq called for rejecting the deadly measures taken by the 1/2
so-called legitimate government in #Aden by raising oil, gas and electricity prices and customs tariffs. These are invalid and deadly measures that increase the expansion of poverty among the largest group of people.
Ben Lazraq said in a post on social media.
We announce
1/3
our absolute and complete rejection of the measures taken by the government today, which led to raising the prices of oil derivatives, gas, electricity, and customs tariffs by more than 30% at once.
These invalid measures are liable to cause a state of devastation among

the people and will push the largest segment of the people towards a state of certain death with the cessation of the payment of salaries, the collapse of the currency and the widening of poverty.
The government, instead of going to these deadly measures against the people, 1/5
should have sought to dismiss thousands of its officials who receive salaries in hard currencies, dismiss the diplomatic missions (surplus), and transfer the state funds that are spent on officials and their families abroad to the central bank accounts to pay public salaries.

the people.
Accordingly, we call on all media, human rights, political and popular sectors to categorically reject this step and urge people to reject it.

The U.S. is presently waging another criminal war mercilessly attacking civilians in #Yemen, but this time the U.S. is on the side of the one-party state that is the lead aggressor, Saudi Arabia. Few, if any, American media have made the ironic 1/2 dissidentvoice.org/2016/09/us-clu…

Obama said, “Given our history here, I believe that the United States has a moral obligation to help Laos heal.” This gesture of 1/4
