Last year, the @GoodLawProject launched a legal campaign to uncover the insidious network of 'think-tanks' & lobby groups based around #55TuftonStreet.

These shadowy organisations have a disproportionate & harmful influence over UK politics.

The @GoodLawProject set out to expose who’s behind them & who’s funding them.

They've recently been looking into @RestoreTrustNT, who unsuccessfully tried to infiltrate the @nationaltrust & want to shut down debate on issues like slavery & LGBTQ+ rights.

In 2021, 'Restore Trust' had 6,100 current & former @nationaltrust members - just 0.1% of its membership - & endorsed Stephen Green, leader of anti-homosexuality Christian fundamentalist lobby group, Christian Voice, which has claimed abortion is comparable to the #Holocaust.
Following an interim report on the connections between colonialism & @nationaltrust properties, many Tory MPs were among the signatories of a letter to The Telegraph from the unhinged "Common Sense Group" of 59 Conservative Parliamentarians.

The letter accused the National Trust of being "coloured by cultural Marxist dogma, colloquially known as the 'woke agenda'".

"Cultural Marxism" is the debunked, hateful & divisive antisemitic conspiracy theory that inspired far-right terrorist Anders Breivik.
The tax-avoiding billionaire-owned Mail, Telegraph, & Times/Sun were happy to amplify the attack, along with the non-dom billionaire-owned #Spectator, which has been attacking & undermining the wonderful @nationaltrust for many years.

The @GoodLawProject, working with data rights law firm, AWO, helped unmask who’s behind the Restore Trust website – which attempts to pass itself off as a grass roots organisation made up of @nationaltrust members - a company called RT2021 Limited.

One of RT2021’s directors is Neil Record, who is also the chairman of climate change denial group, Net Zero Watch, based at #55TuftonStreet, & libertarian 'think tank', the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA)

A common feature of the right-wing 'think tanks' & fossil fuel lobby groups around #55TuftonStreet is their lack of transparency - especially around funding - & misuse of people’s personal data.

Following legal action taken by the @GoodLawProject, Restore Trust - which failed in its attempt to subvert the @nationaltrust - was compelled to reveal who’s behind it, & after beginning legal proceedings, they were also forced to correct its use of data. theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/n…
Restore Trust has also now agreed to settle the legal challenge, take the further remedial action sought, & pay costs.

The @GoodLawProject are also tackling the climate change apologists & deniers at Global Warming Policy Foundation.

The @GoodLawProject has now instructed the same data rights specialists, AWO, to turn its focus to The New Culture Forum – another #TuftonStreet right-wing think tank – that has some questionable data practices that they are keen to interrogate.

Sunak's proposals to help the police stop disruptive public protest, means heading even further down a route that has drawn heavy criticism from civil rights groups. The UK Govt now more closely resembles an illiberal authoritarian state than a functioning modern democracy.
Sunak - mistakenly imho - believes the public & business will support the government’s efforts to stop protesters causing serious disruption following a series of high-profile protests by groups such as #JustStopOil and #InsulateBritain.

Despite sections of the UK press accusing Jeremy Corbyn's @UKLabour of being 'antisemitic' every week, in 2019 the national news media chose to largely ignored Jacob Rees-Mogg directing an unequivocally antisemitic trope at fellow parliamentarians.

A Holocaust survivor with an MBE for her work on Holocaust education, told Braverman her dangerous rhetoric was similar to that used to justify murdering her family under the Third Reich. Braverman refused to apologise, & doubled down.

The barbaric #Rwanda Plan is reminiscent of the Nazis' heinous Madagascar Plan. Braverman's dangerous "invasion" rhetoric is profoundly un-British English nationalism, & her use of the antisemitic 'Cultural Marxism' conspiracy theory, which inspired Anders Breivik, is grotesque.
No doubt there are in Britain & across Europe & America thousands of far-right racists who use *exactly the same rhetoric* as Suella Braverman & Priti Patel to demonise THEM as 'outsiders', who are 'invading' Britain, & 'replacing ingenious pure bloods'.
