Huge focus on synchronised acting in the round of #Ramstein. Not only by Germany, but by all partners.
Focus number one of #Ukraine is air defense. Thus Germany will deliver #Patriot. Seven more Gepard from the industry and the following Iris to come also. Logistics and training ofc on top.
German support of Ukraine will sum up at 3,3 bn € including deliveries in spring.
Regarding #Leopard2 there is no opinion of the partner. It is an open discussion and not everyone against Germany, so Pistorius. No decision about Leopard can be made today and it is not clear.
Pistorius orded ministry of defense to review German capacities of Leopard tanks in regard of availability and compatibility to ensure action when action is needed.
Germany will not stand in the way, when other partners act in the way we do. No export permits were decided. #Poland has not put the pressure on Germany again to send their Leopards themselves.
Leopard1 also under review. No concrete orders for German industry as it is first to be found out, what is on stock.
The Leopard2 decision will be made as soon as possible and we support #Ukraine very intensively. Further support for #Ukraine is useful, but priority as it was made clear today is air defence.
We don't fear anything. We don't fear revenge by Putin. It is just all about the pro and cons for Germany and Europe. A decision will be made soon.
Germany is committed to supporting Ukraine as long as it is necessary. We don't leave Ukraine alone.
