One year ago today I woke up feeling absolutely dreadful. I’d gone for a 5k run the day before and little did I know that it would precipitate the debilitating #LongCovid that I’ve endured for the last year. I haven’t had ONE good day since then. 1/2

I’ve been either stuck in bed or at home with crushing symptoms. I’ve been diagnosed with #POTS meaning I can barely stand up. 2022 has been an awful year. But the #LongCovid and #MECFS Twitter community has been amazing. We all deserve a better 2023! 2/2

In 2010 I fractured my collarbone badly in a cycling accident. It was broken into 4 pieces after I lost my front wheel to black ice on a ride home from work one late winter’s evening 1/n

I waited a week for surgery to put it back together, then a further 6 weeks for it to heal. I still vividly remember the pain of the bone splitting 2/n
