The federal gun ban for #marijuana users is absurdly unconstitutional considering the legality & decriminalization of both medical & recreational marijuana at the state level

No one should go to jail for engaging in lawful activity & also choosing to exercise their #2A rights
Similarly, the lifetime gun ban for "domestic abusers" is problematic as a ban on the right to self-defense for those who have only been convicted of a misdemeanor

In America, you don't lose your right to vote, serve on a jury, etc. for a misdemeanor. That's how we punish felons

18 U.S.C. 926(a)(3) makes federal gun registration illegal yet @ATFHQ has nearly a billion firearms, serial numbers, & gun owners names in a digital searchable database🤔
3️- $700+ Million in Funding Available to Bribe States to Pass “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Laws

A MASSIVE pool of grant money known as Byrne-Justice Assistance Grants are now available to fund state gun confiscation laws.

ICYMI: The lawsuit challenging @ATFHQ's permanent Form 4473 record-keeping requirement (illegal gun registry expansion) is @GunOwners challenge of @ATFHQ's "Frame or Reciever" Rule
Among other arguments, we point out that 18 U.S.C. 926(a)(3) explicitly states that @TheJusticeDept cannot implement a rule that requires (more) firearm transaction records be kept on a government facility.
A broader challenge against the entire record-keeping system is certainly needed, but Congress also bears the ultimate responsibility in eliminating the registry they helped fund.

At his confirmation hearing, Steve Dettelbach claimed that “politics can play no role in law enforcement.” However, Dettelbach’s past actions give this statement no credibility, and indeed suggest the opposite.
As a US Attorney, Dettelbach wrote an op-ed calling for gun control. At his hearing, he defended such behavior as ethical and indicated he would do it again if confirmed.
