I spend all night thinking about our POW. And I think about how he has cigarette. Just object. Just object that humanizes him. He is just man having smoke. And now he is man with cigarette. He remind me of this grave at Jewish cemetery in #Odesa. I call him man with guitar

I go often to visit my grandmother and other family at the cemetery. I bring flowers and clean up their graves. And I talk to them. They have their faces on their graves like photos. I go about and look at others.

Some graves have very ornate monuments and sculptures. Some have almost like shrines.
But almost all have faces. This one grave is big sculpture. There is no face on it. Instead it’s man in profile holding broken guitar.

Year ago today, failed Russian nation launch unprovoked war of aggression against my country to build its empire and take control of our resources. Russian nation has done this for hundreds of years no matter what version of itself it was. This is their last genocide.

I want to show you this. On and off for year I work on notion of adult fairy story about war. It’s good way to tell if without it being traumatic. I make it quest, with main character in forest called Nigde. In Russian word Нигде means nowhere.

I took from notion I have in forest when I imagine
only safe place on earth in summer of last year. I make little dirt pile and make tiny flag called nation of Нигде. I tweet about it then in version 3.0, before evil blue bird erase me. I decide to make it series.

First book will be story of Hanna and how she
found old woman in cottage (I know, you remember) who told her of her destiny to save Nigde & all manner of forest dwellers that join this quest. I find this very therapeutic since we are fighting Orcs.
