all of these people marinate in violence and war. it probably forms the bulk of their entertainment. "history", to the @elonmusk / @mtaibbi / @sama crowd, is armies and generals and battles—nothing else.

for them, wartime is permanent. war gives their lives relish.

it is tough for me to describe just how *completely* war disgusts me—it offends me, spiritually. and yet...I do my best to fight. I feel that I have no choice.

I remember how #CSLewis used a unicorn in his fiction, merely as a horse with a bayonet. I hated him for it.

at least it was more honorable than what @jk_rowling / @RGalbraith did with unicorns in "#HarryPotter and the Philosopher's Stone"—among the worst books ever to become a best-seller and a Hollywood property. she slaughtered unicorns in her tale merely for *shock value*.

my point is...I am not made for war. I consider myself to be a servant of the Earth; matter and energy and their complex interplay in the living world are what concern me. these humble things make me happy.

I don't think very much of "modern warfare", can you tell? I do not subscribed to the degenerate value system that animates @MattWalshBlog &c.; in my estimation, even *war* is supposed to have rules and morality.

it's not possible to have morality, and think yourself infallibly "saved", at the same time. those two things are incompatible. @MattWalshBlog and @PastorMark and other such Christian extremists have declared themselves the equal of God; they pretend to be faultless.

I *detest* this mindset. grappling with the festering bloodthirst of Christian fascism makes me feel depressed and sick.

yet...someone has to do it. someone has to kill this vicious and murderous thing, this right-wing Christian bloodlust, before it kills us.
