This is a thread of FAQs and info on the $WAIT free claim process. With #PulseChain getting close and our FIAT ONRAMP closer, we need to focus, so we will no longer be doing individual support for the free claimers. Be careful of DMs, it won't be us.

Use !commands in our TG t.me/Coast0x there is plenty of information. And the entire $HEX community is very DeFi aware - use the knowledge of those around you.

Many ask us about gas fees to claim. There are 3 transactions that require gas in the $WAIT free claim. We don't control the cost of gas/computation on #Ethereum but remember that high fees are the reason for #PulseChain. List of steps below:

1. “Check database”: in this function your public address is checked against the eligible addresses (stored off chain), if you are eligible, your ETH address will be inserted into the $WAIT contract and that requires computation/gas paid in #ETH

2. “Unlock WAIT” function transfers 0.005 ETH to the chainlink node allowing it to function independently. This was inserted at community request to further decentralise claim process and reduce central managerial effort, based on a twitter poll conducted in July 2022.

3. “Mint WAIT” transfers tokens from the null address and this requires computation/gas. This function can be run for all eligible projects or individually. Cheapest to "Mint all".

Remember main variables for gas fees are network utilisation and price of coin. These things make bear markets cheap and bull markets expensive on #ethereum. Early claimers got cheaper fees, late claimers get larger shares in midnight bonus. Choice is yours.

You are able to manually set gas limits lower when transacting (e.g <20 GWEI) if you are trying to minimize gas fees - just understand your transaction could get stuck!

Common sources of user error we have found:
*Insufficient (or no) ETH
Connecting an ineligible address
*Not running check database function (due to use of demo checker only)
*Sometimes there are issues on mobile or various browser types - get help from community members in chat.

Demo site allows you to check eligibility for free if you're unsure. Eligible addresses are stored in a database (rather than Merkel tree) as many projects/teams (incl. PLS) had issues getting an accurate sacrifice set. The demo site does NOT import your ETH address to contract.

Eligibility is set. It won't change. We support 8 projects and 5 chains. The period of time whereby we addressed eligibility concerns (and did chainalysis/updated database etc) has ended. Just be glad you know about #PulseChain before the rest of the world.

There are resources to help. People such as @CryptoCoffee369 @rhmaximalist @GymRatCrypto (and many others who we appreciate hugely) have made videos on how to use our dApp. We also made a video on how to claim on etherscan. It's on our youtube channel.

We created the tokenomics of $WAIT deliberately to encourage patience as rushing and FOMO can get you rekt. These wallets are your #PulseChain ecosystem sac wallets - treat them with care. Security is KEY. Be careful. Many in $HEX community can help!

Lastly, Crypto is hard. Making money in crypto is even harder. If you enter the Telegram of a project having done zero due diligence you are likely to get rekt. There is considerable information available. Put some time and effort in. Don't be what @BuckFutt_CFA calls a "Jeet".
