Ukrainian judges visit the The Hague as part of an international project to investigate, prosecute, and report on #internationalcrimes. Hosted by Asser Institute and @USAID, the judges will exchange views with Dutch and international colleagues.
The visit takes place in the context of the MATRA-Ukraine project started in 2020 by the Asser Institute and @GRC_HumanRights and funded by @DutchMFA: ''Strengthening Ukraine’s Capacity to Investigate and Prosecute International Crimes".
Ukrainian judges had also participated in the November 2022 MATRA-Ukraine conference organised together with @GRC_HumanRights. At the conference high-level experts, from Ukraine and elsewhere, were brought together to discuss how national efforts in Ukraine can be strengthened.
During this conference judges also spoke with @AsymmetricalH about the realities and pressures of the Ukrainian judiciary in adapting their work to the #conflict and the role of the international system in supporting their efforts.
The training programme on disarmament and non-proliferation of WMDs organised w/ @OPCW is the best way to gain in-depth knowledge of the #diplomatic, legal and technical aspects of disarmament and non-proliferation.
The training offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary 5-day programme with insights, lectures, and exercises from top experts in field of #armscontrol.
@meganjanedee will address weapons of mass destruction (#WMD) from a geo-political perspective
