Acharya Shri Dharmadhurandhar suri, Muni's Trishabchandra Vijayji adi thhana with his 20-25 devotees started their vihaar & crossed the Attari-Wagah border at 10am today. This is the first time ever in 76 years since Partition Jain monks will visit Jain Tirths in #Pakistan

Govt of India & Govt of Pakistan have given 1 month permission to a group of 20 shravaks of Gurudev. By reviving the pilgrimages, this movement of Jain chaturvidhi sangh will bring brotherhood amongst people of India & Pakistan, spread the message of Peace & Non-violence

Full credit to make this possible goes to Shri Ashwani Jain, Jain Heritage Foundation, Delhi. He is the Shravak of Khartargacch of Shwetambar sect of #Jains. Whatever #Jainism we see reviving in Pakistan today is due to his silent, relentless efforts since years.

10.11.24: Priyanshu, 23, a 2nd year MBA student at Ahmedabad’s premier Mudra Institute of Communications, was stabbed to death by a constable of Sarkhej, Virendrasinh Padheriya in a case of road rage murder.

Acc to the FIR filed at Bopal police station in Ahmedabad by Priyanshu’s batchmate Prithviraj Mahapatra, the two had gone to a cafe & a bakery after stopping at a tailoring shop at 7.45 pm. Around 10.30pm, they were on their way back to their college campus.

At a turning on the road, a car at full speed came dangerously close to them. Priyanshu, who was riding pillion on Prithviraj’s bike shouted at the car driver. The man turned around, chased the bike & stopped them. He instead started blaming the boys for driving on wrong side

'Shree Vardhaman Shakrastav Stotra' is a collection of 273 Adjectives that emerged spontaneously from the heart of Shakrendra (Indra) Maharaja when he comes to know of Tirthankar's birth.

Sharing some interesting Adjectives in this #Thread 👇🏼

This stotra was virtually gifted by Shakrendra to Acharya Siddhasen Divakar Surishwarji in the 5th century CE for benefit of mankind. It was lost in the passage of time & rediscovered by Shri Chinubhai Ratilal Doshi from the Ancient Gyan Bhandar in Kavi #Jain Tirth, #Gujarat

3. The word SHAKRASTAV means 'Shakra' (Shakrendra, ruler of 64 Indras of Heaven)+'Stav' (Stavan/hymns) in praise of Lord. The 273 Adjectives are divided into 11 paragraphs known as ‘Alavas’
