Loved the Gulzar books. Conflicted about people in the trees cos it’s exquisitely written but has a problematic protagonist. Image
Two flights. Two books. Will buy more in layover - not me. #books #reading #transitReading

After ‘normal people’ saving me from going into an abyss 👉🏽 (I randomly read anything from this book and come out curiouser. Every. Single. Time.) Image

Geronimo Stilton rocks.

@brainpicker Hit the worst reading slump in years and listened to just this. Yes resorted to audiobooks which I realized are not my cup of tea. August 2019 in #books #reading P.S. need more women like her to share their humble yet incredible stories. Image

Because rituals are a safe space, here I go again. List of books read in the latter half of 2019: yaminigirey.com/2019/12/29/wha… #books #reading
Returning to this thread cos things dont make sense. Books read in 2020 so far.
Re reading Mary Oliver’s poetry handbook cos why not.
Nina hill was light and fun. City of girls is Gilbert at her best. Ian McEwan is a master. Ove made me laugh and cry. #books #reading Image
Read only two books this month but slow reading has been rewarding. @neilhimself s writing is most fun! Children of men was depressing as hell but so well imagined! (fantasy and science fiction are keeping me real) Image
Also when @Pagdandiworld started book deliveries to green zones earlier this month, this haul was ordered! (Have read some of them but re-stocked for home collection) Image
Updating this thread with books read over the past weeks/months cos usual concepts of time don't make sense. #books #Reading ImageImageImageImage
And when friends send over fav author's book, one leaves all pressing work and gets to reading it 💜 Image
I changed my strategy to try to read one book per week and voila! Still a slow reader tho! #books #reading Image
End of 2020 reading. Whatever I could manage in the past few weeks. #books #reading
Ferrante, Achebe are 👌🏻 Image

Me after hearing about the buy-2-get-1-free book sale at @Pagdandiworld :
(Half the books are for 4yo and 10yo friends as I tell myself) Image
2021 in books so far:
Indian food science made palatable and how :-) had fun reading it. I am already re-reading it to grasp some finer details that one (I) misses out on the first read. Also observing and practicing more in the kitchen. Thanks @krishashok look forward to more. Image
Secret santa sent it last year. I am still digesting this information and insights packed book. Lots to unpack and process but I understand the world a bit better after reading this book. @CCriadoPerez thank you! Image
