Last week in New York, we launched The B Team’s Responsible Tax Principles. They cover key areas such as tax management, interactions with authorities and other stakeholders and reporting. - @bobcollymore
They were developed by a group of leading companies, with input from civil society, investors and representatives from international institutions. - @bobcollymore
This is all done with one set purpose: to figure out together what good tax practice looks like, and to work with governments and civil society to standardise a new set of norms. - @bobcollymore

For example @SafaricomLtd's leadership role as the largest corporate tax payer in Kenya has broadened the tax base as the company requires all of its 800+ suppliers to demonstrate proof of tax payment as part of their onboarding process. - @bobcollymore
