#IcelandResources has direct and indirect control of all issued and pending mineral licenses in Iceland. Wondering if more licences have been granted by now? Surface sampling of the geothermal clays in #Reykjanes took place in Dec. Work program 18 on the horizon @Villithor12?
#IcelandResources
The 3 priority projects are:
Reykjanes Project (EL 01) (Au-Ag-Cu-Zn)
The Thormodsdalur Project (EL-14) (Au-Ag-Cu)
The Vopnafjordur Project (EL-05) (Au-Ag-Te) (Bi-Co-Sb-Se-Zn)
(a little bit) more information on icelandresources.is
#IcelandResoruces St-Georges’ flagship property is the Thormodsdalur deposit. "is prepared to accept offers of a partnership once the resource at Thor are proved up to 43-101 standards and currently has an NDA in place with majors and second-tier miners for DD purposes."
#IcelandResources has an obligation to complete an additional 3,000 meters of drilling and publish a NI 43-101 compliant resource in order to complete the earn-in agreement and to crystalize its initial equity position of 41% of the joint-venture on Thormodsdalur. 2018?
#IcelandResources Latest news from October 12, 2017 - St-Georges Receives Iceland's Thor Project Report bit.ly/2p2jvv5 My closing words with regards to Iceland: good infrastructure and ever-present plus cheap geothermal energy.

patent pending method of mineral recovery using a mixture of nitric and citric acid. leaching of #li from spodumene, slims, clay etc. without pressure, sonification or high temperatures.
@StGeorgesPlat#ecomining#greentech /
recently contracted a newly-built pilot plant facility owned and operated by CIMMS (cimms.ca) to further tweak the #li recovery process and the demonstration of commerical scalability.
Locations of the previous drill holes in white (BC1601, BC1602, BC1701, BC1801) and locations of current drill program in red (BC2001C, BC2002C, BC2003, BC2004, BC2005) @IconicICM#exploration#nevada#lithium#bonnieclaire
@IconicICM could become a low-cost & green #Lithium producer with @StGeorgesPlat "Lithium-In-Clay" extraction technology. Sediment-hosted #Li projects are an emerging source of hydroxide (LiOH) and carbonate (Li2CO3) for (but not limited) the underdeveloped US Market.
The phase 1 confidential report is currently being independently reviewed and a final public summary should be disseminated by mid May. A Phase 2 progess update from @Steeltown12345 is also expected within the next couple days according to a statement from @maikan5
"Iconic’s material from Bonnie Claire has been further concentrated. Air Classification trials are on-going to tweak the process. Results will be integrated in the final report this month on the concentration portion of the process." 1/2
@Villithor12@StGeorgesPlat@IconicICM Have you performed a PSD (particles-size distribution) analysis? I am curious what the actual % of sand/silt/clay within the Bonnie Claire sediments is. Separation of all particles under 5 microns is quite impressive! 1/2
@Villithor12@StGeorgesPlat@IconicICM In practical terms, this means that - at least for now - we are not talking about an in-situ extraction anymore but some kind of open pit mining. Wrt byproducts pls let us know the actual K & B concentrations in the next PR. 2/2
@Villithor12@StGeorgesPlat@IconicICM Being able to avoid processing potentially more than 80% of the clay/material should have huge implications wrt to CAPEX, OPEX as well as waste handling/treatment.
NI 43-101 RE highlights:
- 5.370 mio t LCE (Inferred) at 400 ppm cut-off grade
- average grade of the current resource is 963 ppm Li
- resource is open in all directions
- an additional 10 drill holes are needed to move the resource to Indicated or higher category
"Additional drilling to expand and further define the resource is currently in the planning stage."
I need to update my overview now that the shallow drill hole BC1701 is part of the RE on the Bonnie Claire sediments. (BC1701 is located in the vicinity of P3/P4.)
"Bulk sample metallurgy is currently being conducted by St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp of Montreal and results are expected shortly."
I bought shares in for two reasons. 1. because of the Eco-Mining Metallurgical Processing Solutions they are working on in collarboration with @StrategicMetAU and 2. the potential of Julie Nickel / Iceland etc.
I'd appreciate an update on your core business @StGeorgesPlat !
It's worth reading. lemanic.ca/st-georges-rep… In addition, one reason for @WeiTekTsai's investment in in 2007 was the nickel project. Patience is the key!
This is another article from 2015 about the Julie Nickel project owned by @StGeorgesPlatbit.ly/2IgE1A5 This project is in its infancy and a lot of work and capital will be required over the years, however IMO its worth every "nickel" they put in... approx. 48.6 km².
