Tutorial: How to capture network packets and record them on your #Android phone

1/ Install Packet Capture #android app

play.google.com/store/apps/det…
2/ Follow the setup wizard of Packet Capture
3/ Give the read external storage permission to Packet Capture
4/ Click on the green arrow
5/ Choose the application you want to monitor
6/ Accept the connection request
7/ Click on the home button and play with the app you want to monitor
8/ After a while, reopened Packet Capture and click on the red square
9/ Click on the top line
10/ Congrats! You have access to all the capture. You can have the details of a capture by clicking on 1 line

BTW, if you (like me) have a Samsung Galaxy phone but don't use Bixby, you can remap that useless button to something else (or nothing) using an app:
play.google.com/store/apps/det…
it's a weird hack based on the accessibility interface: apparently what it does is register itself to receive app-just-launched events, and if it sees Bixby start up, it kills it and runs whatever you configured instead.
Apparently Samsung has broken previous ways to remap the button in the past, because they're very mad at the idea that anyone would not want to use Bixby.
This one is working just fine on my Samsung Galaxy S8+ at the moment, though.

Remember when I got to go to @NASA to watch a dev run* in the NBL**? The crew on the @Space_Station are doing that spacewalk now. And you can watch it. nasa.gov/nasalive

*dev run = developmental run = rehearsal
**NBL = Neutral Buoyancy Lab = giant swimming pool
If you're an SF writer watching please note that they attach safety tethers AT ALL TIMES. When you hear "Gate closed, slider locked, black-on-black" that's them moving their safety tether. Those are the 3 steps to confirm that it's locked.

They are religious about tethers.
The SF scenario of someone getting knocked off a station by an impact would take a really weird set of circumstances to happen, because they are constantly tethered or otherwise attached.

I released #Palindraw about 4 weeks ago.

It's my first deliberate attempt at #IndieGameDev and it's been an interesting experience. I wasn't sure what to expect.
The main functionality of the game was developed in about 4 weeks of evenings and weekends. Several months were spent on generating and hand picking the levels.
The levels are procedurally generated given a RNG seed and a few parameters. I wanted to have a nice balanced progression through each set.
