Yesterday was #InternationalForestDay. It is a day set aside by the @UN to bring global awareness and attention to the significance of forests to the wellbeing of Planet Earth.

The theme for 2021 is “Forest restoration: a path to recovery and well-being”. The @FAO defines a forest as "land spanning more than 0.5 hectares, with trees higher than 5 meters, and a canopy cover of more than 10 percent, or trees able to reach these thresholds in situ."
