HOW FARMAAJO IS SABOTAGING WAR AGAINST ALSHABAAB IN MUDUG

1. In recent months Galmudug Darwish forces and SNA have been on the forefront leading the fight against Al-Shabaab in South Mudug.

Coordination btween Galmudug forces, SNA & has been the driving force for the operation 2. These forces were able to successfully uproot Alshabaab & liberate the following regions; Ba'adweyne, Amara, Caad, Wasil Gofgadud, Harardheere, Imaamd, Miiroon, Eryaal

The troops were successful in destroying Alshabab bases/hideouts,foiled suicide attacks and removed IED's.

WHY #TIGRAY WAR SAVED SOMALIA:

1. In 2017 Farmaajo committed his gravest crime to gain Ethiopia's support.He handed over Qalbi Dhagax to Ethiopia, a highly decorated war hero who fought for Somalia during the Ogaden war. Further,he made matters worse by labelling him a terrorist 2. This cemented the tripartite alliance signed by PM Abiy, Afwerki & Farmaajo whereby the Ethiopian army was turned into an extension of the Farmaajo militia, a partisan instrument of control & coercion of the FMS. This is what the 3 dictators meant by integration of the Horn.

DIVIDED OPPOSITION, A WIN FOR FARMAJO

1. There is no doubt that Farmajo will do anything to remain in power & cannot be expected to hold a free & fair election

However as elections approach the opposition is divided, each candidate running separatly & that's what Farmaajo wants 2. In 2017 presidential elections, Farmaajo was elected due to division among other presidential candidates.

Seems that history might repeat itself unless the opposition group rethink on their strategy and unite under one umbrella.

In 2017 when Farmaajo was elected president & Fahad Yassin appointed head of NISA, Somalia's security shifted gear to reverse

In their tenure NISA has been infiltrated & compromised by Alshabab turning it into a business entity & whoever tries to do the right thing is eliminated This is a national security nightmare since you can't distinguish those officers that are genuinely serving the nation's interests & those serving terrorists interests

As of today we've never seen any high profile Alshabab member arrested & prosecuted by the federal government.

Turkey lands deal to loan Kenya 118 armored combat vehicles. Funny enough the operational area of these vehicles will be in #Somalia

Turkey engagement in Somalia should not be considered as humanitarian, they have a broader economic & security interests
