Barriers to voting like not having bills in their names, $ to get a State ID, having no home address 🧵👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 It’s beyond difficult to get your social security card & birth certificate when you’re houseless &/or estranged with your family. 2. Where’s the Pop Ed/Political Education for youth? A lot of youth didn’t know about the candidates or their platforms. 🧵👇🏾

Yesterday a Sheriff & a off duty cop shot people in 2 separate incidents!

Please read this thread about State sanctioned violence & political prisoners! In #Chicago we have 4 political prisoners being held hostage by the State! We learned about the Furgeson uprising that happened in 2014. It was a military style response to protesters. The cops beat & tear gassed residents with no regards for their lives or justice. The State convicted #JoshuaWilliams to deter further rebellion!
