Someone like Keval Arora is an example of what the neo-liberals (fascists) hate in colleges and universities. Does he have a PhD (i don't know)? Has he produced peer reviewed essays (don't know)? Did he run around for some highly paid professorship in some University (No)? Or some fellowship (Not Sure)? But this totally unfit for efficient degree factory that our colleges and universities have been forced to become, did what a teacher is supposed to do -

Why are these new road expansions and railway invasions happening the hills?
1. Nation State Making - Making 'inaccessible' hills part of India - chaining them to the centre if you like.

2. Money Making - Obviously large infrastructural projects oils the new 30% economy (earlier it was 15%) most of this 30 is leached to contractors in North and West. Projects would be granted to ostensibly government construction companies or large corporations but then it would be outsourced to usually construction groups headed by

But with new plantation economy, illegal coal mining, rampant boulder quarrying and topped with obsessive road making - these hills are scarred and destabilise.

Having behaved like a troll for sometime now on government's CoVid19 communication strategy, this news is welcome. Hope that the communication unit takes its work seriously and starts by figuring out the crazy ideas about the pandemic that have taken root in the community and gets out of the Shillong English Speaking Class bias of its top down messaging. So some trollish free advice.
