Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package(PMGKP) was announced on March 2020, and was extended thrice till 24 April '21. It was launched to provide safety net to Health Workers to ensure that in case of any adversity due to #COVID19,their families are taken care of. Insurance cover of Rs. 50 Lakhs is provided under
PMKGP scheme. This has provided a safety net to the dependents of Corona warriors who lost their lives to #COVID.
287 claims have been paid by the Insurance Company so far.

Govt of India has written to all Central Ministries & PSUs under them to dedicate their Hospital beds for #COVID19 Management in States/UTs.

This will go a long way to address the shortage of beds being reported from some States. #Unite2FightCorona

PSA #Oxygen Generation Plants:

162 PSA oxygen plants have been sanctioned by Government of India for installation in public health facilities in all States.

These will augment medical oxygen capacity by 154.19 MT. Out of 162 PSA plants sanctioned by Govt of India, 33 have already been installed - 5 in MP, 4 in Himachal Pradesh, 3 each in Chandigarh, Gujarat & Uttarakhand, 2 each in Bihar, Karnataka & TL; and 1 each in AP, CG, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Punjab & UP.
