Fighting has resumed for the third day in the Somalia's port city of Bosaso between rival units of the Puntland state security forces.
At least 10 people have been killed & more than 30 others wounded in the fighting -per security & medical reports.

1/6 Forces from a counter-terrorism unit known as Puntland Security Forces (PSF) have been fighting state troops in the city over the sacking of former PSF commander Mohamud Osman Diano by the regional president, Said Abdullahi Deni.
Diano has refused to leave his position.

Have been contacting sources in Addis Ababa to get confirmation about the reported detention of former commander of Ethiopian army in #Somalia, Colonel Gebregziabher Alemseged Abraha known as “Gebre”. who many Somalis call him “The Butcher of Mogadishu” so far no confirmation. He is accused of overseeing the massacres of civilians, the shelling of densely populated civilian districts, the ransacking of hospitals in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu and various other war crimes, committed between 2006-2008, according to civil & rights groups.
