🧵If you follow me on other social channels, this isn't news, but I wanted to discuss here as well.

On 12/31, I tested positive for COVID.

I thought I would share some thoughts with you in a thread that only suits itself to Twitter...using @SchittsCreek gifs only. On 12/29 I woke up with a VERY mild scratchy throat. Nothing that a sip of water wouldn't take away.

I had no known exposures, but I HAD been at a moderate sized family gathering on Christmas so I tested that evening with a rapid antigen nasal swab test.

It was negative.

Per @CDCgov the change was an effort to reduce economic hardship for those unable to work during quarantine as well as reduce burden on #PublicHealth system.
