Another problem during the Covid-19 pandemic... in the greater Munich area there are currently 45 free places out of around 460 in intensive care units.
Accidents like today with more than 30 injured place an additional burden on the healthcare system.

According to a Munich PD spokesman, 14 people were injured in the accident in Upper Bavaria. 80 other passengers would be medically examined.
Around 200 emergency services are on site of the accident near Schäftlarn.
Police and paramedic helicopters are deployed.
