Amnesty International in a series of tweets announced their support to the people of #Afghanistan, especially those affected by the earthquake in #Khost and #Paktika provinces. (1/4) The organization added that the Taliban de facto authorities in Afghanistan must attend to the immediate and essential needs of the affected communities and guarantee that humanitarian agencies must have access to the affected regions.

Following the violence in #Afghanistan, @HugoShorter, Chargé d’Affaires at the #UK Mission to Afghanistan in Doha in a statement said;
The UK does not support anyone, including Afghan nationals, seeking to achieve political change through violence, (1/4) or any activity inciting violence for political purposes, in 🇦🇫, and will not allow UK soil to be used to plan or prepare it, and we strongly discourage others from doing so. Following the escape of former president of #Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani and reports of him taking millions of $ with himself, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (#SIGAR), stated that Ghani left the country with less than $1 million.
