Yesterday @scotgov published new guidance around leaving halls of residence to return home, including both short visits and moving on a permanent basis.
- For all students in UofG residences (whether you're isolating or not), we will offer a four-week rent rebate, in recognition of the difficult circumstances you are living under.

From tomorrow (31st March), the role of Rector will be vacant due to the current #COVID19 situation. The University and Students' Representative Council @gusrc wants to ensure the election is as demographic as possible and we garner high levels of student engagement. 2/3
The @uofglibrary will close today (23 March) from 6pm, as well as the James Herriot library at Garscube campus & the Chemistry branch library. Loans on books have already been extended and online facilities are still fully available.
As @UofGVC outlined in our FB Live earlier this week, confirmation of positive results is entirely to be expected as the pandemic evolves. We're working closely with Health Protection Scotland & will remain open – though, face-to-face teaching will cease from Mon 16 March. 2/4
This follows our decision that exams scheduled for the April/May assessment period will not be undertaken in exam halls on campus.
