1) MMRV combination vaccine no longer recommended for children <4yo. That means that vaccine will no longer be covered by insurance, removing it as an option for docs and their patients. Thankfully the two shot regimen MMR and chickenpox vaccine still available. No matter what the chair says, this removes choice and access. Let’s see which vaccine they will go for next!
2) ACIP passed a resolution that pregnant women should be tested for hepatitis B. This is already in guidelines and adds nothing new. Glad tax payers paid for that one!
