1/8 Die Übersterblichkeit ist definiert als eine höher als erwartete Sterblichkeit - unter Berücksichtigung der zeitlichen Trends.

Der erwartete Bereich ist in der Grafik grau angegeben. Eine deutliche Übersterblichkeit gab es leider sowohl in der ersten wie der zweiten Welle.

Dass sie dann mit dem kühlen Wetter anfangs Oktober entgleist ist hat niemand so vorausgesagt, aber eine Überraschung war es nicht. @SGruninger @beftwi @EberhartSusanne @C_Althaus @SwissScience_TF @marcelsalathe_d @eggersnf Weiter sollten Sie wirklich unterscheiden zwischen was Mitglieder der TF in den Medien sagen und was die TF in ihren Policy Briefs erarbeitet hat. Die Briefs sind sehr konsistent - siehe meinen Thread

Thread 1/6 Let us compare the rate of new cases in the UK and Switzerland (from @OurWorldInData): both countries are clearly on the path of exponential growth, and are therefore beyond the 'tipping point'. Btw, the same applies to France or the Netherlands.
