Resharing these articles and studies that I've saved which are useful when trying to explain to family & friends who don't believe that children, as well as adults, are at risk of serious outcomes from Sars-CoV-2 infections....
🧵Despite masking, my kids have made friends at school and have good social lives. I've finally relaxed knowing they're happy and as safe as possible. Out of the blue, my husband asks "When will it be ok to let them unmask?"
I'm so tired.😩😞😥
Last Christmas, my husband got covid, and he's masked at work ever since, so I've stopped sharing studies so as not to terrify him about the after effects.
When I tried today, he refused to let me show him studies. He doesn't want to hear it anymore.

Just a reminder that Covid is NOT A COLD. Why we still have to explain this to people is beyond me. The fact that most of the public doesn't understand the REAL risks of C19 is a direct failure of @CDCgov .
@burdish @hraun14 @PeteUK7 I've been trying to share these as widely as possible.
I don't know HOW contagious MPV is, but I DO know that the UK, Canadian, and US governments KNOW that it is possible that #MonkeypoxVirus CAN spread via airborne transmission.
