🇮🇱 🇵🇸 A week ago in #Jenin, undercover #Israeli forces killed four #Palestinians including a 14-year-old boy.

I conducted an #OSINT investigation into the targeted killings and geolocated some of the events that took place that day. ⤵️

matthckwilliams.medium.com/clues-to-a-tar… 🔍 Key resources included using a combination of @googlemaps, Google Earth Pro, and @suncalc_net. But the most important in determining the location was @mapillary. Sources from @Telegram and @Twitter accounts sharing content was also vital. #OSINT

An atrocity in #Ethiopia.

Security forces from the SNNPR along with Fano militias and Amhara special forces were caught on video burning a man alive.

@Quen10Tarantino and I investigate with help from @wdavison10.

Warning: Contains upsetting images. On 11th March, a five-minute clip has been circulating on Facebook and Twitter, showing armed men throwing a man onto a fire in #Ethiopia.

Several other prisoners had already been burnt to death before the man’s murder by the Ethiopian soldiers and government-linked militias.

Locating an atrocity in #Ethiopia.

As the Ethiopian army advances, upsetting images and videos have emerged of the alleged killing of prisoners outside Tinishu Rebi/Chefa Robit in Wello during December.

@Quen10Tarantino and I investigate ⬇️

#OSINT Image The images and videos available on social media accounts have shown bodies in a pit on a roadside in #Ethiopia varying states of decomposition in December.

@Quen10Tarantino and I will not be sharing some parts of the images and videos as they are too graphic for @Twitter Image

This is a second video of the same shot of #Eritrea and #Ethiopia's forces. (shared by @mvreisen). Several Twitter accounts have alleged a 'handover' of weapons did not occur or that video was 'fake'.

As part of my #OSINT @bellingcat homework, I've set out to show why it isn't. This is the second video was also shared by @mvreisen.

The footage was captured at 07:08am on 5th November in #Eritrea, only days after fighting broke out in the #Tigray region.

The region, and #Ethiopia, have spiralled into a brutal civil war.
