in the conversation/anxiety/ around COVID19 the actual and projected lack of ventilators is a dominant theme both in the HIC and LIC . Thoughts follow 1. 1. If the worlds richest countries run short of the much cheaper #PPE endangering the lives of every #HCW who is treating these patients then there is nothing to suggest that they will ever get enough ventilators in time . Nor do they intend to.
