The shift would have directed elderly and disabled people to rely on the internet and in-person field offices to process their claims, curtailing a service that 73 million Americans have relied on for decades to access earned government benefits.”

Yesterday we went over the basics of Hachiman (played by Tom Cruise), master of mental and martial arts, a demigod loved by warrior heroes!

Why does he wage war on the Guardian of Muspelheim? Learn more about Hachiman and the answer may reveal itself.
We will begin with Hachiman's shrine, which appears as a torii gate with hanging crests depicting a throwing knife.

How this shrine responds depends on the party's behavior.
*As mentioned in other posts, shrines are a kind of Trick from the AD&D DMG. Shrines of this sort can grant wishes if a suitable character interacts with the shrine and kills a monster of the deity's choosing.

A school that educates royalty and refugees, founded by a Jewish refugee who fled the Nazis, just canceled my talk on journalism and antisemitism.

Why? Because some students found my presence “distressing.”

This is what happened—🧵⬇️Image
2/
UWC Atlantic is no ordinary school. It was founded by Kurt Hahn, a Jewish educator who fled Nazi Germany, escaping fascism. He also established Gordonstoun which King Charles III attended.

It’s where royals like Spain’s Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia study—alongside refugees on scholarships.

And yet…Image

Last Sunday, I was due to speak to students about antisemitism and my journalism—as requested by Jewish and Israeli-backgrounded students.

The school was keen. We held multiple planning calls to ensure it was constructive, appropriate, and beneficial.

Then—cancellation.Image

A young woman presents with bleeding from her nose and gums and the following skin rash: Image
2/11
Petechiae are pinpoint hemorrhages <2 mm in size, purpura are 2 mm to 1 cm, and ecchymoses are >1 cm.

Our patient has all three. These lesions are the result of extravasation of blood from the vasculature into skin/mucosa and do not blanch, as shown in this video:

A platelet disorder could explain these symptoms and physical findings.

But is the platelet issue qualitative (platelets are normal in number but abnormal in function) or quantitative (platelets are normal in function, but abnormal in number)? Image

I know this hurts. The weight of being there for people who only see you as a lifeline—but never a priority—is heavy. You keep telling yourself that maybe one day, they’ll see you. Maybe one day, they’ll love you the way you love them. But how many ‘one days’ have passed?
You’re not crazy for wanting to be loved without conditions. You’re not wrong for hoping your family would cherish you, not just need you. But love that only shows up when it’s convenient for them isn’t love
it’s control. It’s survival. And you deserve more than being someone’s emotional crutch

Dysregulated calcium can clog your arteries and calcify your soft tissues. What you eat determines how your body regulates calcium and whether you have strong bones or calcified tissues.

Most people are doing all the wrong things. 🧵 Image
> Calcinosis is abnormal calcium deposition in soft tissue.
> Calciphylaxis is the calcification of blood vessels.
> Hans Selye showed that calcinosis could be triggered by parathyroid hormone.
> Adding a “calciphylactic challenger” like serotonin to the mix caused calciphylaxis.Image
> Arterial calcification is a hallmark of atherosclerosis.
> This is quantified by a CAC score (coronary artery calcium).
> CAC is the best predictor of atherosclerotic complications.
> Elevated CAC score tied to parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels. Image

I simply can't wrap my head around the argument that the US has a responsibility to give citizenship -- the greatest gift we hand out -- to a America-hating terror fanboy. You're literally bringing in someone who wants to destroy our way of life. Insanity.
There are millions of deserving people in the world dying to come here who would respect our laws and culture and become productive citizens.
People are always going on about how we should only bring in immigrants we need with skill etc. I want to bring in people who are going to love this country; people running from illiberal violent philosophies not importing them.

Has anyone looked up Mahmoud Khalil’s attorney, Ramzi Kassem?

He defends terrorists for a living.

Mahmoud’s attorney was not only a “Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans” recipient.

(Details
The Paul and Daisy Soros Foundation supports new Americans any individual who is a resident alien (i.e., holds a green card), has been naturalized as a US citizen, or is the child of two parents who are both naturalized citizens.)

He is a law professor at antisemitic CUNY.

law.cuny.edu/faculty/direct

“Kassem argued Tanzin v. Tanvir before the U.S. Supreme Court, a landmark civil rights case challenging the federal government’s abuse of watchlists, resulting in a unanimous decision for the clinic’s clients. In Raza v. City of New York, another groundbreaking litigation challenging secret police surveillance, Professor Kassem helped negotiate an historic settlement restricting surveillance of constitutionally protected religious and political activity.”

Aka he has wanted to stop the government watchlists. He has tried to stop the police from identifying people at these pro-terrorist rallies.

“Professor Kassem and his students have also defended fifteen prisoners of various nationalities incarcerated without fair process at Guantánamo Bay, Bagram Air Base, and other secret or disclosed U.S. facilities worldwide. Their advocacy at all levels of the federal judiciary, in military tribunals, before administrative and international bodies, and in the media has established important law-of-war precedent and resulted in the liberation of eleven clients so far. This includes the only prisoner released from Guantánamo during the Trump administration, for whom Professor Kassem was lead defense counsel before a Military Commission on charges of war crimes in United States v. Ahmed al-Darbi. In this larger context, Professor Kassem negotiated client repatriations or resettlements in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Yemen.
Domestically, Professor Kassem has appeared as defense counsel or advised defense teams in federal terrorism cases, including United States v. Uzair Paracha, which resulted in the exoneration and repatriation to Pakistan of his client after seventeen years of incarceration. Professor Kassem and his students have also defended numerous immigrants and asylum-seekers in immigration court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and in federal courts.
Professor Kassem was part of a three-member delegation of international legal experts invited by the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) to assess the state of emergency in France. He was tasked by the Public Interest Law Network (PILnet) to lead a feasibility study on clinical legal education in Tunisia. He has lectured broadly overseas, including in France, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. In connection with his cases, Professor Kassemhas also conducted fact-finding missions in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Yemen.”

Don't get me started on the spin on that one ^Image

Dear readers,

I'm too busy for regular posting at the moment, but here's an update on what I have planned for the coming months.
I feel DISPELLING BEAUTY LIES is finally complete. Of course, I've said this before and been wrong. In the past I wanted to be done but was forced back by a nagging sense there were important things missing. With the long section on seduction I believe I've now closed those gaps.
While I don't expect any major additions going forward, I'll still correct mistakes or clarify ambiguities if I find them, and gradually update the images when I have time.

I'm also still planning to talk about beauty on spaces, which I'll discuss at the end of this thread.

NEW @FreeBeacon: Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Promotes Fundraiser For Pro-Hamas Activist in ICE Custody

The fundraiser has received nearly $270,000 and will bankroll 'long-term justice efforts' to 'hold those responsible for his unlawful detention accountable' 🧵 Image
Isra Hirsi, the daughter of "Squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), championed a fundraiser supporting Mahmoud Khalil, the student activist and foreign national facing deportation by the Trump administration over his pro-Hamas campus organizing.
The online fundraiser was launched after ICE took Khalil into custody Saturday night after the State Department revoked his visa and green card. By Wednesday afternoon, the fundraiser had raised nearly $270k, surpassing its $250k goal and prompting administrators to set a new target of $500k.

1./ Please support this crowdfunder for @Glinner. David Paisley poisoned our public life with his relentless defaming of anyone he disagreed with. His crybully bleating whenever he was called out for his misogyny was almost psychotic. Who can forget the time he was caught out.👉
2./ In 2021 this large lump of idiocy liked a tweet by an activist suggesting trans people should carry guns. When I pointed this out he denied it. He threatened to sue me if I did not retract. He didn't realise I had proof. The moron. See the video.🤣👇

3./ Paisley is a pathetic excuse for a man who weaponised his fragile ego and damaged personality to try to silence feminists and child-defenders with a tirade of lies. By helping Graham defend himself we can hope finally to cleanse the body politic of this bullying ghoul.
