درحقیقت مشرف کا یہ کارگل منصوبہ کئی برسوں سے زیرِ غور تھا۔ لیکن اس پر عمل 1999 میں ھوا۔
نوازشریف کو بتایا گیا کہ اس آپریشن میں کوئی جانی نقصان ھوگا نہ ہی فوج حصہ کے گی بلکہ صرف مجاہدین لڑیں گے۔
لیکن جب حملہ کیا گیا تو دشمن کیطرف سے پوری ناردرن لائٹ انفنٹری اڑادی گئی۔
دو ہزار فوجی
نوازشریف کو بتایا گیا کہ اس آپریشن میں کوئی جانی نقصان ھوگا نہ ہی فوج حصہ کے گی بلکہ صرف مجاہدین لڑیں گے۔
لیکن جب حملہ کیا گیا تو دشمن کیطرف سے پوری ناردرن لائٹ انفنٹری اڑادی گئی۔

انڈیا نے کارگل میں اپنی فضائیہ کو خوب استعمال کیا لیکن پاکستان کی ایئرفورس کو کارگل آپریشن کا فوجیوں کے LOC پار کرنے کے بہت دن بعد علم ھوا۔
مشرف سےپوچھا گیا کہ کیاآپ کو اسکااندازہ نہیں تھا؟ تو مشرف نےکارگل جنگ کی بالکل الٹ اور من چاہی دروغ گوئی پر مبنی
