#BREAKING: I just heard a report about accident in 2nd Maritime Area of #Iranian Navy in #Oman Sea. #IRIN's Jamaran (76) Moudge-class frigate fired a C-802 Noor anti-ship missile at #IRIN's Konarak general purpose tender killing its 30 sailors & sinking it near #Jask few hrs ago!

Unfortunately the rumors about this accident are true. Tens of Iranian fishers have rushed to the sea to save the surviving sailors of #Iran Navy's Konarak General Purpose Tender. Video released now shows two injured sailor recovered by local fishers from sea.

#BREAKING: Another video leaked now shows the wounded sailors recovered from the sea. Konarak General Purpose Tender had not kept enough distance from a target which Jamaran Moudge-Class Frigate was supposed to test its C-802 Noor missile at during the exercise of #Iran Navy:

The wounded sailors are now being rushed to hospital of #Chabahar. Video recorded by a local shows them in port of #Chabahar in SE of #Iran minutes ago.

This is list of the names of the 16 rescued sailors of #Konarak Hendijan class General purpose tender (MIG-S-4700). Six of them are now under surgery, two are in coma and five others are in mild condition but are hospitalized.

#BREAKING: Image leaked by an #Iranian Navy sailor shows that the Konarak General Purpose Tender has not sunken but it is badly damaged. Konarak is now anchored in port of #Chabahar. According to #Iran Navy officials, out of 34 crew members of the vessel, 19 have lost their lives

Satellite images taken by Maxar show the Konarak General Purpose Tender of #Iran Navy before & after the accident in port of #Chabahar. The targets which were used for live missile firing of Jamaran and other frigates of #Iranian Navy during the exercise can be seen in the port.

Today morning, a C-130H of 12th Tactical Transport Squadron of #Iranian Air Force transferred corpses of the 19 #IranNavy sailors of #IRIN Konarak accident from #Cahabahar to #Tehran for official funeral. After that, they were sent to their cities for burial.

After the official funeral in #Tehran, corpses of some of the sailors who were born in #Shiraz & the small towns around that were transported to their hometown by this C-130H of 72nd Tactical Transport Squadron from 1st TTB in #Tehran to 7th TTB in #Shiraz.
